The gathering of Scots on the steps of the Washington State
Capital in Olympia to read the United States Senate resolution
proclaiming
April 6th as National Tartan Day. In attendace were members
of a number of Scottish clans and organizations including the Tartan
Day
Society of Washington, the Scottish-American Military Society (SAMS), the
Caledonian and St. Andrew's Society of Seattle, and the
Celtic Society of
Puget Sound.
